Why does tea taste different when I drink it outside?

Unless I’m just going crazy, whenever I drink tea outside it has a slight aftertaste that I never get when I drink it elsewhere.
Edit to add, it has more taste, if that makes sense. It has a more complex taste.

Hmm, different mug for outside? Fresh air changing your palate

I usually use the same mugs, and if I drink some tea inside, then go outside its still different.

I’m going to guess that the hot cup outside in the cold has more vapour coming off it and since a lot of smell is taste more vapour means more taste?
