Does Putin use the internet/computer? Do upper officials in Russian government use VPNs that are banned for citizens?

When politicians are not in public they are simply stored in the closet.

The rumor is that he does not: businessinsider.com/vladimir-putin-never-uses-cel…

Have you actually seen the quantity of misinformation that gets pumped out of the Kremlin? So yeah, there are plenty of Russian trolls that use the open interwebs.

uses TV/Russia State news

i wonder if he does the same thing Westerners do where we just reverse or inverse whatever Russian claims are made to have a better understanding of whats actually happening, since they live in Opposite Land

So the more effusive the news, the worse things actually. Kind of like how suspects in a criminal investigation often cant help their case by making statements but the are allowed to hurt their case with their statements****

Doesnt make sense tho, he definitely sets their agenda and talking points so how could he be getting his news from that, thats rescursive or something. He definitely uses the internet

I don’t know about Putin but I mean you would have to assume the upper echelons do as a general rule. That’s how corrupt kleptocracies work. They pass laws for you but not for them.
