Are there allergy meds similar in class and effect to otc stuff like Claritin?

Would love to get prescribed so I dont have to buy otc totally not covered by insurance

Dont say diphenhydramine (Benedryl), thats too sedating, heavy duty, and i assume short acting

Edit - cetirzine covered, fexofenadine likely not covered/available at Costco generic but i want to get whatever covered

Is that usually covered by private insurance or do they say its also otc (Allegra) so f you?

You’ve gotten it prescribed before?

I think so, it used to be prescription only. I’ve personally only bought it OTC.

I am seeing that apparently cetirizine is definitely covered for sure, not so much fexofenadine so thats the other one I’ll bring up with doct.

Altho, once i get some other shit calmed down, i have the allergist diagnosis and script for the serum stuff for the shots to develop immunity or whatever but it takes 5 years of continuous monthly shots so I gotta be ready to commit to that long term
